What I love about Evey Clothing is that they appear to agree with my philosophy, which is that fashion, makeup, and desserts should all be combined into one giant bowl, topped with whipped cream, and enjoyed without guilt.

I discovered this yummy website via Aromaleigh mineral cosmetics, as they sponsored the launch party for Evey, along with Hard Candy and Sugar cosmetics. Three of my favorite brands. ♥

I heard this song at work the other day and, surprisingly enough for something playing at work, I really liked it. So, thanks to the powers of the internets, I discovered that the song is Early Winter by Gwen Stefani, and that the video for the song is friggin’ pretty.

First you get to see Gwen running about in cute boots. Then you get multiple shots of throwing rose petals around in a really long white nightgown. Then you get Gwen staring in a mirror at her perfect application of smokey eyes and baby pink lips. Finally! you are treated to a really huge green and black ballgown.

Because I couldn’t find any screencaps, you get to just watch the video.

I’ve been having bad luck with mascaras lately.  They make my eyes itch.  They goop and get spiderleggy.  They never dry and they smack black eyelash-sized lines on my upper lids if I look upwards too hard.  In short, I’ve been wearing random drugstore clear mascara for about six months, in dispair.

Hurray for Lash Injection by Too Faced!  This stuff actually rocks.
